Yoshida Design and Maru by Lundgren + Lindqvist

I’ve been following the work of these guys for a while now and I can’t believe I hadn’t featured them on the blog yet. This new identity was the perfect opportunity though. Swedish design and development bureau Lundgren + Lindqvist recently completed a brand identity which included a full stationery set and complementary website for Yoshida Design, a Scandinavian architectural practice with Japanese roots. The result is clean and minimal yet distinctive with four bright spot colors limited to the logo and critical information. Lundgren + Lindqvist also completed earlier this year the identity for Maru, a high-end boutique and showroom founded and curated by architect Motoko Yoshida. Both of these identities display a clear value of simplicity and meticulous craft while injecting Scandinavian and Japanese inspiration.
